My high school teacher, Miss Steinwa. She's like, Yo, I want you to audition for the school called AMDA.

I remember seeing the pamphlet for the school, and it was like, this girl with like, a perfect light on her and like, she's like, I was like, Yo, get out of here, bro.

    I'm never like, you're walling.

    But I went you.

    I auditioned.

    I sing.

This is the moment from Jekyll and Hyde. I took my shirt off and everything.

So then I did a monolog from King Lear. I did Edgar's, Edgar's monolog, where he's, like, lost in the woods.

He's talking about, I'm gonna transform myself into the woods.

I'm gonna, like, make myself look like a tree. He's like, I'm like, on the ground, dust on my face.

And I got into the school, I found out this guy named Marcus Carter called me, and he's like, hey, you know you got an AMDA.

I never forget it. I was in the shower, and I don't know why I picked up the phone in the shower, but I'm like, Hey, man, he's like, Yo, you know, you got an answer.

    I'm like, oh, that's crazy.

So I ended up coming here, and I went here for two years and, you know, and I just, I worked my ass off every day I came into school.

Anybody that knows me knows I was busting my ass up in here.

I wasting not one minute, you know, because I was like, never in a million years would I have this opportunity.

The chances of me having an opportunity like this to get this kind of education is like this, you know, the odds are this much.

So I came up in here and I was a dog.

    I was an animal.
